Week of December 17th Happenings

Christmas is almost here and we only have a four day school week this week.  There are three things we need to bring up this week.

First - We need everyone to bring in their fruit money ASAP.  We need to pay our vendors and all of the money needs to be collected and turned in this week.  If you don't have your money turned in Monday, you can expect a phone call reminder Monday evening.

Second - We have an FFA meeting on Monday morning at 7:15 am in the Ag Classroom.  Everyone that has turned in their fruit money will get their incentives.  We will also be discussing our January schedule.  We are planning on having a proficiency and degree work day on January 2nd from 9:00am - 12:00pm for everyone that can make it.

Third - Foundation Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) scholarship information is posted.  This is a fantastic leadership conference in Washington DC that a few Medford FFA members have attended.  The cost is high (usually around $1,500, includes airfare) but there are Foundation scholarships available to help cut down the cost.  Go to the MN FFA Foundation and click on the "Members" tab to access the application.  If you are interested in going, talk to Mr. Ovrebo or Mr. Larson.

See you Monday morning!
